July 17th, 2011: I haven't blogged in a while. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who came out last night to see me sing at The House of Blues Restaurant! It was such a blessing to see so many people and people who came just because they checked out my website. I really apprciate that. There was an awesome table from KY. They were a bunch of fun and are friends with George Clooney's parents. They were great. There was another couple from Pittsburg there as well. My friends and family were there. So fun. Tracy Marie opened for me and she was awseome, thanks Tracy! Jimmi Chance accompanied me last night...we played stuff from the Beatles, Neil Young, Stevie Wonder, Janis Joplin, and Allman Brothers (to name a few). Plus we did alot of blues! BB King, Muddy Waters, Koko Taylor and Etta James. We are back there on August 6th! Hope to see you soon.
May 9th, 2011: A Happy Mother's Day it was this past weekend! I am not a mom but can definitely appreciate what they do and I know how much I love and respect my Mother. I hope everyone spent some quality time with their mom this weekend! I sang at the House of Blues in the restaurant for the first time. it was so much fun. Rob Hayes from Shady Drive Band joined me and we did songs from the Beatles, to Joan Jett, to Heart, and Bonnie Raitt. Thanks to those of you who came out to support us. We really appreciate. I will be back again on June 25th with Sam Romano (Rossi & Romano duo). We hope to see you then. I am looking forward to the upcoming gig at "Wilbert's Food and Music" on Sunday May 15th. Updates for 2011
It's been a while since I wrote on this blog, nothing to me is that exciting to blog about, however I have made some changes to my 2011 year and moving forward:
I recently resigned from RACE (Rick and the Cutting Edge Band), the all ocassion/wedding band. I have been in a wedding band for a long time, 20 years and I would like to concentrate more on doing more acoustic shows, blues/jazz music and rock. I enjoy going out to the local jam nights to hang out with friends and to sing with the incredible Cleveland talents; Brother's Jam nights on Thursday and Sundays, Bullfrog's North Ridgevilleon Tuesdays, Parkview and Slyfox on Wednesdays. Its great to get out and meet new musicians and jam with them. It makes me a more well rounded vocalist too and it's fun!!
Please look out for some newer groups I will be playing with:
"2 Guys & a Girl"- acoustic group
"The Cleveland Music Club" (CMC) a group of talented musicians, always mixing up the line-up
"Shady Drive" blues and classic rock band
"Rick Keane and Me" acoustic guitar and backing tracks
Maybe a few others on the rise!!!! Thanks for all of your continuing support of me and live music!

Sly Fox-Jam Night with Eroc, Cy, Dwayne, and Jon
What a fun night! First I was in my PJs with my hair in a pony tail, next I was in my jeans and a Hendrix t-shirt at the Sly Fox. This was my first time at this jam night. I usually sing on Wednesday's at the Savannah, so it was great to finally get out and see Eroc, Cy Sulak, Jon Darling and guest star-Dwayne Dickman! They were fabulous. All of their set songs were great and lastly, the audience was treated with some Pink Floyd, since Eroc is "Wish You Were Here" tribute band. It was off the hook (so to speak). Then Mike Starcher and I got up with the Jam Band and did a few, 4, I mean 5 songs...so much fun! Thanks so much for a great night of music! PS~ The sound man at the Fox was awesome! www.floydtribute.com/jimanderocduo.htm

Cleveland Blues Society Challenge
Yesterday was a great day to be in Cleveland! The 2nd Annual Blues Challenge was held at Wilbert's. I competed in the solo/duo competition with Jimmi Chance on electric guitar. We did a great job (I think). We lost to Mitch Reed, he had some great original music! Good luck to him in Memphis!

Erin sang with the RBS Band (Really Big SHow Band) featuring Rizzo and Hammer!
Saturday the RBS Band was at the Hard Rock in Cleveland for a fundraiser. The fundraiser was for the "Littlest Heroes" foundation www.littleheroesfoundation.org/. My firend, Blazine Monaco is the founder of this foundation, please check out the website to see how you can help. We had a great show and everyone seemed to have a great time. They had a cool contest that had 4 people (who made it through semifinals) come up on stage and play a guitar. If that guitar played, they won a trip to London, England to see a concert. Talk about an awesome prize! The RBS Band's next gig is July 17th at Thiseldown.

Blues Jam Night at "Doc and Louie's"
Last night I went to the Blues Jam night at Doc and Louie's in North Olmsted. I met a lot of AWESOME musicians! The host band was Shady Drive www.shadyhayesentertainment.com. These guys are excellent, they rock they have SOUL . They did a 3 piece with Rob Hayes on Lead guitar and vocals (awesome pipes and a killer player), Mike Starcher on drums (thanks for inviting me Mike you are great) and Dick Devries on bass (keeping the grove going). I had a chance to sing with them! I did "Gimme one reason", "Red House" and "Rock n Roll" Zeppelin, it was fun. Then I jammed with some other great musicians too singing "Kansas City" and "Stormy Monday". I need to learn more Blues, thats the extent of it. Ann from "After the Gig" was out as well! I had fun, see you next time!

Erin Rossi sang with "The Really Big Show Band"
Last night, I sang with Tony Rizzo and "Hammer" from ESPN 850 WKNR Sports in "The Really Big Show Band" www.espncleveland.com/pages/pages.php at Fat Fish Blue for a fundraiser. It was a blast! I sang back up vocals for the two hosts and then had a chance to sing ZZ Top's "Tush". My dear friend Derek Poindexter played a monster bass solo during "Tush". It was great to meet Rizzo and Hammer and the rest of the band. Thanks so much for having me sing and jam with all of you!

Rusty Barrel's 4th Birthday! (great bar in Westlake)
Last night I went out to the Rusty Barrel in Westlake to celebrate their 4th year in business. Congrats Rusty! Not only was it a great night, I was able to listen to my friends "My Three Sons" play. They are awesome and I was able to introduce them to some of my friends who are fans now (Todd & Aimee Herrick, Laura Masek and Cathrine)! It was fun to get up and sit in with them and also sing with my friend Deborah Vargas!
